About NEST

Northern Education for Sustainability (NEST) is a voluntary organisation that aims to raise awareness of environmental issues and to encourage personal action that will allow local communities to thrive in a healthy global environment.

The main methodology employed is Earth Education.

NEST is a non-profit making organisation working in partnership with;

Northumberland National Park Authority
Student Community Action Newcastle.
The Great North Forest
West Bolden Environmental Education Centre
Rupert's Wood Environmental Education Project
Maglin Conservation Training


NEST is funded by the Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) administered by Northumberland National Park Authority.
